Hungarian F1 GP, 3 day transfer from Budapest
Booked this prior to leaving UK. Lots of communication before hand and always got a prompt reply. It was expensive and had to pay full amount on first trip which at first we were very worried about. We knew that the morning pickup would be ok but concerned we might not find our driver at the end of each day.
We had no reason at all to be worried, our experience was fantastic and our driver Ati was amazing. Every morning Ati messaged us with his actual arrival time. As he was a local he knew all the “back roads” to avoid the other traffic driving to the circuit. He always dropped us as near to the circuit as possible. For our evening pickup he would drop us a pin of his location and we would walk to find him. Every evening he was in a very similar location, so again not difficult.
If looking at booking transportation to the Hungaroring for the F1 weekend I would definitely look at using this company. We heard stories of people waiting hours for a taxi back to the city. Whereas, we left the circuit, walked 15 mins, got in a lovely air conditioned people carrier, drove for 30-45 mins back to our hotel. I would definitely recommend using this company for transfers to and from the Hungaroring for the F1 GP. Although I said it was expensive it was money well spent.
There is no directconnection from Budapest to Hungaroring by public transport
You can take the subway to Örs vezér square, take the walk to Örs vezér square, take the train to Mogyoród, take the walk to Mogyoród HÉV-station, take the line 326 bus to Mogyoród-Szadai elágazás, then take the walk to Hungarian Grand Prix. Travel time can be three hours.
However the journey takes approximately 45 minutes during race time, if you travel with an experienced driver. The distance is approximately 22 km by shuttle transfer from Budapest to Hungaroring.
During the race weekend, the Budapest area is very busy and full of traffic – it can be hard to find transportation to and from the circuit if you have not pre-booked beforehand.
Where is this place? Near the Hungarian Grand Prix and close the Danube in the city of Dunakeszi. This Exclusive Villa is located 18 km from the Hungarian Grand Prix Circuit, 200 meter from Danube beach and 18 km from Budapest old town.
A beautiful forest walkway leads down from the Exclusive Villa to the Danube. A little forest, creek, Danube promenade, parks, cycle route, sports field, restaurants, supermarket, free-beach, playgrounds can be enjoyed nearby.
